The School seeks to employ a dynamic and professional person in the position of Senior School English Home Language Teacher who will report directly to the Senior School Head.

The successful candidate will:

  • Require suitable academic and professional qualifications
  • Have a current SACE registration
  • Be able to teach English at both GET and FET level
  • Be willing to teach Life Orientation, if required, at FET level – this will be an advantage
  • Maintain standards of excellence
  • Be able to work effectively as part of a team dedicated to the care and development of students
  • Be computer literate and have experience using technology in his/her teaching practice
  • Be able to motivate and develop creativity in pupils
  • Be prepared to make a significant contribution to co-curricular activities at the school, including leading public speaking, and providing safeguarding assistance in debating
  • Appreciate working in a values-driven, Christian environment
  • Be required to uphold the ethos and traditions of the school
  • Be willing to apply for clearance with the Child Protection Act and Sexual Offences Register.
