Seeking an English Home Language Educator for a Visionary School
Established in 1997, by Kgosi Mollwane Lebone Boikanyo Molotlegi, Lebone II – College of the Royal Bafokeng is a leading independent preparatory and secondary school for boys and girls from South Africa and the rest of Africa. Lebone II is a school both rooted in an extraordinary African Culture, the Royal Bafokeng Nation, and poised towards a global future. The College was established with a strong guiding purpose – to address the educational needs of the Bafokeng community and its immediate surrounds while at the same time providing a world-class education to those who show particular talent.
English Home Language Educator (Grade 8 – 12)
OUR CANDIDATE
The Board of Governors is in search of a suitably qualified, dynamic educator who is a strong believer in the potential of every young person; who thrives in being innovative; who is excited to be involved in a school of the future; who will understand the dynamics of working in a community-based school with great aspirations.
The applicant for this position should:
- Be committed to professional development and the honing of their teaching practice
- Be excited about working in an environment of collaborative planning and teaching
- Be passionate about education and have the relevant experience
- Be computer-literate and able to integrate IT in the teaching programme
- Be prepared to participate in pastoral, cultural, and extramural activities of the College
- Be excellent in verbal and written communication skills in English.
Minimum requirements:
- A relevant BEd Degree / PGCE
- A minimum of 3 – 5 years teaching experience up to Grade 12 level will be an added advantage
- IEB teaching and marking experience will be an added advantage
- SACE-registered.
