ENGLISH (GR 8 – 12) & VISUAL ART (GR 8-9) TEACHER

JANUARY 2025

The successful applicant must meet the following criteria:

  • Have a relevant teaching degree
  • Have a proven track record as a highly skilled and experienced English educator up to the Grade 12 level. The ability to teach Visual Art to Grades 8-9 will be an added advantage.
  • Be a dynamic team player with excellent people and communication skills
  • An ability to fully integrate technology into their teaching
  • Be registered with SACE
  • An ability and willingness to offer student support in and out of the classroom context
  • Be willing to collaborate and share resources
  • Although IEB experience would be an advantage, we welcome DBE experience
  • Have the ability to engage fully with the ethos and spirit of Kingsmead
  • Be willing to participate in the Extra-curricular programme offered by the school
