The successful applicant must meet the following criteria:
- Have a relevant teaching degree
- Have a proven track record as a highly skilled and experienced English educator up to the Grade 12 level.
- Be a dynamic team player with excellent people and communication skills
- An ability to fully integrate technology into their teaching
- Be registered with SACE
- An ability and willingness to offer student support in and out of the classroom context
- Be willing to collaborate and share resources
- Although IEB experience would be an advantage, we welcome DBE experience
- Have the ability to engage fully with the ethos and spirit of Kingsmead
- Be willing to participate in the Extra-curricular programme offered by the school
