Herschel Girls Senior School seeks to appoint a
DRAMATIC ARTS TEACHER (MATERNITY COVER)
to commence duties on 6 July 2020 (Negotiable)
The successful applicant will:
Have an appropriate degree and professional teaching qualification
Be able to teach Dramatic Arts from Grade 8 to 12 and have a sound working knowledge of the national curriculum
Have theatre-making skills and the ability and commitment to produce and direct productions and be involved in the school’s broad cultural programme
Be dynamic and innovative, with the ability to motivate and inspire classes
Be an enthusiastic team member, eager to make positive contributions to the academic, pastoral and extramural activities of Herschel
Be expected to fully support the Christian Anglican ethos of the School
Have an understanding of and commitment to transformation, and the ability to support the implementation of the School’s Diversity and Transformation Policy
