We are seeking to appoint a dynamic Head of Arts & Culture – Dramatic Arts educator with IEB experience to start in January 2022.
A successful candidate will be able to implement and establish:
effective, modern approaches that relate learning to the lived experience of learners
a communicative and practical approach to the subject, relating skills and concepts directly to real-world application
teaching that incorporates contemporary ethical dilemmas and critical thinking skills
innovative teaching that engages learners’ interest and desire to communicate and express themselves in the preforming arts
effective data analysis and targeted programmes of improvement
a collaborative team geared for innovative and responsive teaching
A minimum of 3 years IEB / Cambridge experience
A Bachelor’s degree
PGCE, B.Ed or other accepted teaching qualification
SACE registration, police clearance and good references
A willingness to support the Christian Catholic ethos of the College
