The Position – Hilton College is seeking to appoint an exceptional individual to lead the development of sport within the school. Hilton College believes that schoolboy sport is integral to the development of men of character.

The position of Director of Sport has become available from July 2024.

The Ideal candidate should:

  • Have a track record of managing complex sport structures;
  • Have strong administrative skills;
  • Be an educationalist at heart;
  • Enthuse a wide range of people in the pursuit of sporting success and participation;
  • Be SACE accredited;

The role focuses specifically on:

  • providing world class facilities;
  • providing a professional staff team offering our boys a world class experience in both competitive and recreational sport;
  • providing our boys with access to sport science services;
  • building on the successes of the past;

The minimum requirements for the position include:

  • a qualification in Physical Education, Sports Management, Human Movement Sciences or similar;
  • extensive experience in organizing and administering sport within a traditional boys’ school or comparable sports environment
