DEPUTY HEAD: PREPARATORY SCHOOL
Start: Term 1 2025 (neg.)
St Cyprian’s School (Preparatory) seeks to appoint an inspiring individual who possesses a deep understanding of the academic, social, and emotional needs of students in Grades 1-7
to the position of Deputy Head from 1 January 2025.
The ideal candidate, who will report to the Head of the Preparatory School, will demonstrate understanding, insight, and acumen in managing student affairs and day-to-day operations.
The minimum requirements for the position require:
• an accepted academic degree
• a recognised professional teaching qualification
• current SACE registration
• an accountable history of at least 10 years in preparatory schools
• experience in management and leadership will be advantageous.
Attendant with a senior management position are specific areas of expertise and experience. Are you invigorated by input and leadership into academic practices, industrious in managing operational processes and systems, considerate and attentive in pastoral care, and can you demonstrate proven experience in leading people? yourself in school life as well as be comfortable with the management practices and processes concomitant with the position of Deputy Head.
