seeks to appoint a

Deputy Head, Intersen Phase

in the Preparatory School. Starting date is negotiable around the start of Terms 1 or 2, 2022.

The position requires an inspiring individual who is immersed in modern teaching and learning practices and who has a keen interest in innovating and re-imagining how education is delivered to ensure that students thrive and develop their individual love of learning.

The ideal candidate, who will report to the Head of the Preparatory School, will demonstrate understanding, insight and discernment in the different phases that comprise preparatory school education. If you are passionate about project-based learning (PBL), developing and nurturing students, show credible innovation in education, create happy and collaborative learning environments, we are excited to hear from you.

Successful candidates will hold an accepted academic degree, a recognised professional teaching qualification, current SACE registration, and provide a track record of their teaching, particularly within Intersen Phase for 10 years. As a teacher, you will show commitment to the development of students, high energy levels and a willingness to immerse yourself in school life as well as be comfortable with the management practices and processes concomitant with the position of Deputy Head.

St Cyprian’s School is on a journey of Transformation and the successful incumbent will be expected to contribute positively to the outcome of this journey.
