It forms part of St John’s College. We seek to appoint a dynamic individual to shape and lead the academic programme at the Preparatory School.
The successful candidate should have:
A suitable degree and a teaching qualification, and be registered with SACE
Extensive knowledge of the Preparatory school academic curriculum, timetabling, and teaching and learning
A lifelong commitment to professional learning aligned with global trends
Excellent managerial skills and the ability to lead and inspire staff
Highly developed inter-personal skills, and the ability to work effectively and productively with boys, teacher interns, staff, parents and Council
Excellent written and oral communication skills and the confidence to deliver effective presentations to audiences of boys, parents and staff
A passion for boys’ education
An appreciation of the traditions and Anglican ethos of the school.
St John’s College offers competitive salary structures and remuneration is calculated on a cost-to-company basis which includes membership of the ISASA Pension Scheme and membership of a medical aid scheme.
