The successful candidate must be an experienced and well-qualified teacher who holds an appropriate professional teaching qualification and is registered with SACE. Previous experience in Independent Education is an advantage but is not essential.
In addition, the applicant must:
Be a committed Christian
Teach coding, robotics, computer literacy and digital citizenship
Effectively manage the Computer Hub facility
Have appropriate academic and professional qualifications
Possess effective communication and interpersonal skills
Keep up to date with innovations and discerning their usefulness in education
Seek opportunities for teachers to become better trained in technology, integrating it into curricula
Be prepared to work outside of school hours, where necessary
Manage banks of iPads and teams of learners assigned to assist
Be prepared to participate fully in the extra-mural programme by hosting a Coding and Robotics Club and a Minecraft Club weekly.
Be passionate about inclusive education, be creative, self-motivated, organised and energetic
