Applicants must:

  • Have completed a 4-year appropriate tertiary qualification
  • Be a registered SACE member
  • Have a sound knowledge of the Language Curriculum, both English and Afrikaans
  • Be responsible for all duties as required by an academic educator
  • Have a passion for education
  • Be energetic, self-motivated, and able to use your initiative
  • Be enthusiastic, assertive, and flexible
  • Be computer literate
  • Be able to work as part of a team
  • Have excellent communication skills
  • Be able to facilitate collaborative learning
  • Have a good classroom discipline record
  • Can interact with parents and colleagues
  • Have an active willingness to participate in the broader life of the school as well as an understanding of the value of extra-mural participation
