St George’s Diocesan School, an Anglican Church School, is a Cambridge International School, registered to oﬀer education programmes from Cambridge Assessment International Education, a department of the University of Cambridge.
The staring date will be negoiated with the successful candidate, but the Chaplain will be required to be in oﬃce by 1 January 2020.
An ordained Anglican Church Priest
A Master’s Degree would be an advantage
Teaching qualiﬁcation would be an advantage
Personal attributes of energy, integrity, vision and experience
Excellent planning and organisational skills; and
Ability to inspire and motivate a diverse community of students, teachers and parents.
The successful candidate would be required to:
Share the Christian ethos and values upheld by the School
Provide for the spiritual and pastoral needs of the students at St George’s and the broader St George’s family
Have appropriate counselling experience
Assist in and support the School’s outreach programmes
Organise and conduct weekly, quarterly and annual Chapel services
Have experience in Christian youth work
An ability to teach and the experience of working with young children
Be willing to work after hours in order to fulﬁl the requirements of the position
Participating in the broader life of St George’s Diocesan School
