The Oprah Winfrey Leadership Academy for Girls (The Academy) is a residential boarding school with just over 300 students enrolled in Grades 8 -12. Grade 12 students write the Independent Examination Board (I.E.B.) NSC/ CAPS Examination.

Minimum academic requirements and experience
B.ED with Business Studies or an appropriate academic qualification and proof of registration with SACE.
EMS and Accounting as a major subject would serve as an added advantage.
3 – 5 years teaching experience in a school environment teaching Business Studies and any of the Humanities or Commercial subjects.
Teach Business Studies and preferably EMS or Accounting subject in grade 8-12.
Recent experience of teaching Grade 12 Business Studies.
An established track record of effective teaching. A passion for enquiry based, student-centred learning.
Exam setting and student evaluation experience.
Experience in GDE / IEB teaching at the Grade 12 and marking.
Knowledge, Skills and Attitude
