An opportunity exists for an exceptional Boys Senior Prep School Performing Arts Coordinator to join the school as soon as possible

Required Qualifications and Experience

  • Matric
  • Tertiary qualification is an advantage
  • At least 5 years’ experience in administration
  • Proficient in MS-Office
  • Experience working with children
  • Ability to work on MAC will be advantageous

Candidates should have the following attributes:

  • The ability to work under pressure, prioritise and schedule workflows
  • Excellent communication and written skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to be resourceful and proactive when issues arise.
  • Excellent organisational skills.
  • Multitasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks.
  • Customer service attitude.

Duties:

  • Oversee exam entries and ensure efficient communication with parents.
  • Prepare and host concerts, organize performances, and manage tours.
  • Assist the Director of Performing Arts and manage department timetables, minutes, and bi-weekly meetings
  • Maintain and organise the Music Library, Choral repertoire, and Choir registers.
  • Administer the Two Keys recording studio, performance venues, and drama/culinary resources.
  • Ensure the smooth running of the Performing Arts administration system and asset register.
  • Recovering Costs for instrumental hire and sales
