Bookkeeper (focusing on Debt Management)

Starting 1 April 2022

The position entails but is not limited to:

  • Bookkeeping to Balance Sheet with a focus on accounts receivable and debt collection.

Qualifications and Experience:

The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of the following:

  • Degree in Finance or Accounting
  • 3 – 5 years’ experience in a similar function
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
  • Proficiency in Pastel Accounting software

Candidates Require:

  • A good understanding of accounting and related processes.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills and the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Good English written and verbal communication skills.
  • Accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Absolute confidentiality.
  • Excellent computer and administration skills.
  • A flexible and adaptable approach to work with an ability to use own initiative and work independently.
  • Sound work standards and ethics.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to participate as a team member and achieve agreed objectives.

The ideal candidate should be organised, enthusiastic and suited to working in a girls’ Catholic school with the ability to identify and contribute to the values and ethos of the school.
