Athlete Development Specialist

An exciting opportunity has arisen to work at St Charles College as the Athlete Development Specialist.

We are looking for an inspired, self-motivated leader who has a proven track record in the field of Sport and
Wellness. The role will include planning, tracking, mentoring, and reporting, primarily through our Physical
Education and High-Performance programmes. The right person will have unmistakeable capacity to inspire
boys and coaches through an exceptional work ethic, skill set and passion for the wellbeing of student
athletes.

If you are able to work in a team-focused environment within an independent all-boys school and are aligned
with the values of our College, this position offers a rare opportunity to genuinely influence the lives of
generations of boys of the College.

The ideal candidate will:

  • Provide strategic direction, leadership and implementation of the College’s Wellness and High-
    Performance programmes.
  • Build into a culture of excellence, innovation, learning and healthy habits that supports student
    athlete development.
  • Have the ability to network with relevant internal and external stakeholders.
  • Have the ability to work within the Christian values and mission of the College and a willingness to
    work unconventional hours.

Minimum Qualifications

  • An appropriate BA or BSc degree.
  • Management experience in the field.
