Assistant to the Admissions Registrar: Administration Faculty

Rallim Modern Learning Environment, an exciting private school situated on Berkshire Boulevard, Sunningdale, in the Western Cape, is seeking to employ the following on a full-time fixed-term Assistant to the Admissions Registrar to join our talented and creative community from the 1st August 2024. Only Cape Town based candidates will be considered.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Administrative experience.
  • The ability to use technology is a necessity and experience with Apple products would be an advantage.
  • Experience with CEMIS would also be an advantage.

  • Have excellent interpersonal skills with colleagues, students and parents.
  • Be energetic, self-motivated and able to use one’s own initiative.

General Responsibilities:

  • Process and review applications for admission.
  • Manage the application database and maintain accurate records.
  • Oversee the evaluation of applicants in conjunction with the relevant Heads.
  • Communicate with prospective students and their families.
  • Analyse admissions data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Assist in preparing reports for the Board of Directors on admissions statistics and outcomes.
  • Participate in meetings and committees related to admissions and enrolment.
  • Assist with the organisation of open house events.
  • Carry out other reasonable duties within the responsibilities of the post and undertake training as required.

  • Police clearance record, sexual offenders’ register clearance, and a child protection register clearance (< 6 months old) from the Republic of South Africa.

  • Certified copies of your qualifications and SAQA evaluation report for international qualifications.
  • SARS proof of registration/provisional tax reference number and banking details.
