Herschel Girls School seeks to appoint an
ADMISSIONS OFFICER
to commence duties March 2025 (or soon thereafter).
The Admissions Officer will play a pivotal role in the School’s admissions process, from initial inquiry to enrolment. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, a passion for education, and a commitment to offering outstanding support and assistance to prospective families.
The successful applicant will:
- Manage the entire admissions process (Pre-Nursery to Grade 11), including enquiries, school tours, assessments, and follow-ups
- Build strong relationships with prospective families, offering guidance and support throughout the application process
- Coordinate and deliver admissions events, including open days and tours
- Collaborate closely with the Head of School, Head of Preparatory, Marketing and Advancement Manager and staff to ensure smooth communication and decision-making
- Have the ability to work independently and as part of the Advancement Team
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all applications and inquiries
- Monitor and report on admissions data, trends, and projections
- Have strong communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills
- Have a passion for working with families and have an understanding of their educational needs
- Have a positive, professional, and approachable demeanour
- Be proficient in MS Office and experience with databases (school management software experience is an advantage)
