Admission Associate
Uplands is a forward-thinking, innovative co-educational independent school located on a 110-hectare Estate in White River, Mpumalanga, that is committed to providing quality education to day and boarding scholars from Grade 0000 to 12.
Uplands School is a member of the Independent Schools Association of Southern Africa (ISASA) and the Anglican Board of Education of South Africa (ABESA) and offers examinations set by the Independent Examination Board (IEB).
Uplands seeks to appoint a passionate Admission Associate, whose strengths will lie in strategic planning, excellent verbal, listening and communication skills. The role requires the candidate to be highly energetic, creative, innovative and professional.
The successful applicant will:
- Marketing, Commerce or any relevant qualification will be advantageous.
- Have 3 years’ experience in a similar role (School environment would be preferred).
- Provide a clear and persuasive pitch to anyone and have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Manage the ADAM database.
- Be responsible for meeting the weekly, monthly and annual admissions targets.
- Must be goal-oriented, move fast and take ownership of work.
- Possess strong organisational and administrative skills and be able to work effectively across all levels of leadership.
- Have great computer skills with proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
- Build and strengthen relationships.
- Be passionate about providing an excellent Education for innovators and leaders.
- Have a growth mindset and fired up to challenge both professionally and personally.
