ACCOUNTING & MATHEMATICS TEACHER
HIGH SCHOOL
(Commencement date: 1 July 2025)
THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL BE EXPECTED TO:
- Teach Accounting (Grade 8 to 12) and Mathematics (Grade 8 to 9).
- Engender a healthy environment for development, learning and growth.
- Be prepared to work according to the St Patrick’s College Christian ethos and policies.
- Interact and communicate well with teenagers.
- Have competent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Have the capacity to develop and sustain new teaching and learning ideas.
- Be knowledgeable and comfortable within an IT environment.
REQUIREMENTS:
- All applicants must be suitably qualified for the relevant position. A degree in Accounting or a B.Ed (Senior or FET phase) would be a minimum requirement. A record of Accounting and Mathematics teaching at Senior School level is preferable.
- At least 2 years’ experience teaching Grade 12 Accounting.
- Experience in the IEB would be a recommendation.
- Current SACE registration.
- National Register for Sex Offenders (NSRO) compliant
