THANDULWAZI MATHS & SCIENCE ACADEMY
The Thandulwazi Maths and Science Academy was established in 2005, a pioneering initiative of St Stithians College to provide educational growth opportunities for students and teachers based in public schools.
The focus on Maths and Science provides the opportunity to make a signal contribution in the public education sector and in scarce skills development. It is necessary to ensure a clear flow from the work buckets so that there is continuous improvement in the execution of the expected deliverables for the Academy, as identified in our goals and objectives.
The Academy’s activities are hosted at and supported by St Stithians, and funding is provided predominantly through corporate CSI contributions and private donations. This is a shining private-public partnership model and St Stithians is proud to call the Thandulwazi Academy the seventh school of the College.
