Keryn House is a strategic marketer with her roots in the education sector. She holds a Higher Diploma in Education from UKZN and a Masters in Business Administration from the University of Wales.
Keryn has consulted to blue chip companies across South Africa in marketing strategy, sales strategy and business strategy. Her experience includes retail, financial services, media, IT, FMCG and capital equipment.
After holding executive roles in Johannesburg in government and business, she returned to her home province of KZN to be with her family and chose to move back into education. She took up part-time teaching and school marketing. In 2016, she wrote the ISASA publication: A Guide to Effective School Marketing.
Keryn’s strength is translating strategic marketing concepts and market research (such as segmentation, market positioning, target marketing) into practical tactics for implementation in a school setting and creating buy-in to the marketing effort. She works with heads of schools and their marketing teams to help them to enrol and retain more students through strategic marketing.
