The ISASA Staff Development Fund (SDF) makes annual professional development grants to staff at ISASA member schools. Applications for the 2024 SDF Awards are now open.
Applications can be made for any of the following:
- International visitorships to independent schools, as well as attendance at conferences.
- African visitorships to independent schools in other African countries.
- Targeted research on issues of relevance to independent schooling.
Applications must be supported by a confidential letter of recommendation from the applicant’s Head of School or, in the case of Heads applying, from the Chair of their Governing Body. These must be submitted by no later than Friday, 1 September 2023. Please note that applications from staff members of schools that do not contribute to the SDF cannot be considered.
