Right from the start, this conference promised to be an eye-opener and a learning opportunity unparalleled to any conferences I have attended previously. The conference tagline, “Small Steps, Expanding Frontiers” summed up my experience perfectly.
The conference was held at Space Center Houston, the official visitor centre for NASA’s Lyndon B. Johnson Space Center, home to the US Human Space Flight program. The conference consisted of three main parts; keynote addresses, tours of NASA facilities and teacher-run workshops.
If you are a teacher who is interested in space exploration and using it in the classroom in order to enrich your students’ life’s, then SEEC is a conference that should be on your radar and included in your personal development plans for the future.
