Ministers briefed the media on Wednesday – just over 24 hours before nationwide lockdown – to give clarity on what is allowed or not allowed during the lockdown, and to explain how basic services will function.
Here’s what you need to know:
There will be no non-essential movement
Public transport will be limited to staff rendering essential services
Courier services will only be allowed for essential goods
Any place that does not sell essential goods will be closed
No liquor will be sold
All non-essential public and private facilities will be closed
