Following the Minister of Basic Education’s address, we are pleased to confirm that schools that are able to comply with the relevant COVID-19 regulations may commence with lessons on Monday, 1 June 2020. All staff are expected on-site on Monday, 25 May 2020.
Minister Motshekga also indicated that certain types of schools (small schools, special needs schools and independent schools) could be granted some flexibility in terms of phasing-in of grades.
