The ISASA Executive Director, Lebogang Montjane, was quoted in a News24 article on the possible suspension of school sports following renewed COVID outbreaks.
Lebogang indicated that there had not been any major outbreaks at schools, although some cases had been recorded in relation to sporing events. These had been contained.
He added that schools conducted their own risk assessments, but that ISASA was available to advise and would also alert schools to any changes in the regulatory requirements from a provincial or national level.
