The Executive Director’s Report (EDR) is an overview of ISASA’s activities during the previous reporting period.

- eThekwini Municipal Rates Case
- Capacity Enhancement (workshops and other professional development)
- The SAHISA, SABISA, Proudly Primary and Deputies Conferences 2019
- ISASA initiatives, including the SAMSTIP Teacher Intern Programme and the Leadership Development Programme
- ISASA advocacy and media interaction
- The ISASA Pension Scheme and Provident Fund
- Current policy issues affecting schools, including the general education certificate, the Teaching and Learning International Survey (TALIS), examinations and assessments, and others
- Organisations operating in the education space, including IQAA, SACE and Umalusi
