ISASA Chair’s Letter to Membership | May 2020

We are living in uncertain times. I am pleased that we now appear to have confirmation that schools may begin to return on 1 June 2020.

Since the President declared a National State of Disaster, South Africa, like the rest of the world, finds itself in a state of flux. The spread of COVID-19 has brought us into uncharted terrain. As a result, ISASA has had to navigate these vicissitudes to safeguard the independence of its members.

ISASA will continue to assist schools on their journey as they reopen and be assured of ISASA’s continuing support during this time. As an association, ISASA is committed to diplomatically advocate for our members and the sector as whole to ensure that it can retain its independence, be sustainable and thrive.
