Independent Schools Remaining Open Only To Prepare for Online Learning

The ISASA Executive Director, Lebogang Montjane, was interviewed by eTV News on 18 January 2021.

Lebogang indicated that independent schools can currently remain open, as there are no regulations stating that they cannot. However, this will change as soon as relevant regulations are promulgated.

Lebogang indicated that ISASA is in full support of government’s decision to postpone the re-opening of schools and its members are preparing pupils for online learning while they await the regulations.
