Independent Schools Closing Campuses and Moving to Remote Learning

The ISASA Executive Director, Lebogang Montjane, was interviewed by Capetalk on 18 January 2021.

Lebogang spoke about ISASA’s recommendation that its member schools close – for at least two weeks and ideally until 15 February 2021 – as per the Department of Education’s media briefing on Friday, 15 January.

Lebogang also indicated that some schools were using the next few days to prepare small groups of pupils at a time for online learning, while strictly observing COVID health protocols.
