Funding for Staff at ISASA Member Schools to Further Their Studies

Funds are available, through a bursary allocation from the ETDP SETA, for staff at ISASA member schools to further their studies at the higher education institution of their choice.

According to the finalised proposal and MoU submitted to the ETDP SETA, ISASA is planning to utilise the 2019/2020 allocated funds as follows:

  • Allocate 40 spaces for people interested in studying towards full professional qualifications; diploma, undergraduate and postgraduate degrees.
  • Allocate 15 spaces for people interested in doing a GetSmarter Teaching with Technology short course offered online.

Current students who are already recipients of the ETDP SETA funded bursary and whose studies have not yet reached completion should also complete the application form for 2020 studies.

There are certain requirements stipulated by the SETA that interested staff members have to meet in order to be eligible for this funding. Please download the full memorandum below for a summary of these requirements and additional information. Application forms are also available for download.

Member schools are requested to apprise their staff members of the ETDP SETA funding and encourage them to apply.
