On Friday, 28 May 2021, the Department of Basic Education (DBE) gazetted amended Directions under Government Gazette No. 44633.
The DBE amended Directions address the following:
- Sports (contact and non-contact);
- Co-curricular activities and enrichment programmes; and
- Returning primary school learners and pupils with special education needs.
