Unfortunately, the ability of a family to meet tuition fee payments can deteriorate very rapidly for a variety of reasons. This can negatively affect the pupil’s education, as well as the School’s financial position, particularly where budgets have already been established.
The effective management of debt is important to the success of any school and the process surrounding the collection of debt is regulated by The National Debt Collection Act 114 of 1998. The Management team and Board members have a duty to ensure effective use of the school budget to raise standards and maximise the achievement of pupils.
