ISASA has received numerous queries seeking clarity on the current position in respect of quarantine periods in schools, and, in addition, the suspension of classes to allow for learner and/or whole class isolation.
The ISASA Legal and Policy Department has compiled a memorandum that serves as an update on isolation and quarantine where positive cases have been identified within a school.
