The Colleges of Medicine of South Africa has provided a guideline document on reducing transmission of COVID-19 in the school environment.
The authors emphasis that hygiene and physical distancing measures are key to reducing SARS-CoV-2 transmission in the school environment. The aim of the guideline is to provide schools with practical measures founded on public health principles to reduce the school environment becoming a source of COVID-19 transmission.
