Brain-Friendly Strategies for Accelerated Classroom Learning

Bookings are now open for the 2020 Thinking Schools South Africa Roadshow – the annual event that stretches our thinking about teaching and learning.

This year we focus on key developments in the Neuroscience of Learning, with ICOT International Speaker Karen Tui Boyes from New Zealand facilitating a practical ‘art and science of learning’ workshop on how to engage young brains in accelerated learning.

We now know that just because we have taught the information, it does not mean that our students have learned it. Even for those of us who are transforming the way we teach, to be even more effective we need to develop a deeper understanding of the learning process, based on the latest neuroscience. That’s why this workshop is an interactive masterclass where you will learn, explore and test out ideas and strategies and leave with a clear action plan to take the learning in your classroom to the next level.

As a ONE DAY extra only in Johannesburg, Dive into Inquiry with Canadian Inquiry-Based Learning enthusiast, Trevor Mackenzie.
