On Wednesday, 20 May 2020 the ISASA Executive Director, Lebogang Montjane, participated in a webinar discussion hosted by Yeshiva College in Johannesburg.
The discussion focused on return to school for Yeshiva College itself, but also dealt more broadly with challenges that schools will face when returning their learners to campus under the Covid-19 regulations. The panel included religious, medical and education experts.
Lebogang spoke on the role that ISASA has played in assisting schools during the pandemic, as well as the association’s interaction with the Department of Basic Education to ensure that as much flexibility as possible is granted to independent schools in determining how they return to campus-based learning.
