Teach a Man to Fish in association with Fundación Paraguaya is hosting the 10th annual Education That Pays For Itself conference on financially sustainable and innovative enterprise education.
Our conferences are a unique opportunity to be part of community that is transforming education in developing countries by integrating entrepreneurship and financial sustainability into the fabric of schools. The event is also a chance to discover how new and innovative models are tackling key challenges in education across the developing world.
This year’s conference will be held from the 30th November – 2nd December 2016 at LIV School, Kwa Zulu Natal, South Africa under the theme, Schools For Success: Educating Tomorrow’s Entrepreneurs.
We chose this topic because it is symbolic of what we as a community of changemakers believe in: transforming the way we look at and run our educational institutions to truly equip young people for a future in work and to teach them practical 21st Century skills from a young age.
The conference involves three days of talks, roundtable discussions, workshops and networking events to unpack the unique opportunities, challenges and lessons around the themes of financially sustainable and entrepreneurial education. Presentations and discussions from global leaders in the field will be complemented by practical grass roots examples of successes in this area.
