On 1 March 2006 a new company called Edge Interactive was launched. Edge Interactive is dedicated exclusively to marketing, selling and distributing all SMART products throughout the SADC countries and Mauritius.

SMART products consist of a range of group collaboration tools, including interactive whiteboards, multimedia furniture, wireless slates, interactive pen displays, rear-projection interactive whiteboards, interactive digital signage, in-wall solutions and software.

Edge endeavours to assist with the evolution of the education system in Southern Africa by providing a solution for a SMARTer way of learning and aims to be the most successful communication and education technology company in Southern Africa.
