Drug Assessment Rehabilitation and Education (D.A.R.E) is a training organisation as well as an outpatient treatment centre for substance abuse.

The organisation was started in June 2006 as a response to the great need for affordable educational and counselling services in the field of substance abuse. The organisation is registered with the Department of Social Development as a Non Profit Organisation (Reg No: 062 NPO).

D.A.R.E provides services in 2 main areas: COUNSELLING (addiction outpatient and general counselling) and EDUCATION.

Under its education services, D.A.R.E. provides the following school programmes:

• Various school programmes target learners of all ages as well as educators and parents. Aimed at equipping individuals with the necessary and real facts about addiction, substance abuse, and life skills for prevention.
• Drug Policy - as an organization we have done extensive consultation regarding the development, implementation and management of Drug Policies and drug testing, and offer our expertise in this area.
• Drug Testing: We sell tests as well as provide a testing service at the school.
