In the U.S. there is a growing consensus among policy-makers (and educators) that the country’s lack of financial sophistication was one cause of the current economic problems.

Life Skills are usually learnt from our parents or the school system. Financial literacy is a life skill, but in many cases our parents lack the financial education themselves!

Our schools should teach our children:

• The basics of debt and credit
• How dangerous your credit card can be,
• The importance of paying your bills on time &
• The implications of having bad credit.

The Financial Passport is specifically designed to bridge this gap.

• Existing staff utilised to present course to pupils
• Deals with the important areas of financial literacy
• Pupils receive the Financial Passport on completion
