Judith Griessel has more than 13 years’ experience in employment relations, and has since 2007 been consulting to ISASA and various member schools, taking over from Garath Lawrence. She is legally qualified and is an admitted advocate to the High Court.

Currently practicing as a Labour Consultant, services provided to clients include –
  • Consultation and advice on disciplinary and performance issues
  • Disciplinary training workshops - customised according to clients’ requirements
  • Chairing disciplinary hearings
  • Operational requirements - restructuring / retrenchments
  • Advice and assistance with Industrial relations management, including liaison with union officials, assistance with meetings, wage negotiations, organisational rights; industrial action
  • Assistance and advice regarding CCMA disputes
  • Employment contracts and policy documents
  • Assistance with Employment Equity – consultation meetings, compiling EE Plan, assistance with implementation and monitoring of EE Plan, assistance with EE Reports to the Department of Labour
  • Advice on compliance with labour laws and related legislation in general
  • Regular Employment Updates to clients
