Set in secure, park-like grounds in them eastern suburbs of Pretoria, St Alban’s College is an Anglican Boys’ Boarding and Day School. The school celebrated its fortieth birthday last year and is considered to be one of the leading independent boys’ schools in South Africa.

The coaching team is one of the best in the country and there are professional coaches in cricket, hockey, squash, tennis and rowing.

MUSIC DEPARTMENT

The Music Department produces music and singing of an exceptional standard and can provide tuition in any instrument in which a boy may be interested. There are numerous other cultural and adventure activities; in fact, there is something to suit every taste! A happy school!

PREMIER BOARDING SCHOOL

St Alban’s is recognized as one of the premier boarding schools in South Africa. The majority of the staff live on campus and the school operates a 7-day programme. The boarding facilities are modern and comfortable and are continually being upgraded. We offer both full and weekly boarding. Families are encouraged to visit the school often so that they can fully participate in the lives of their sons.

STRONG SUPPORT SYSTEM

The progress of every boy is monitored through the well-established House structure and small-group Tutor Group system. We have an academic Support Programme to ensure all boys cope with the academic challenges. The College Support Programme is a service for those who are experiencing emotional or psychological difficulties, and is staffed by skilled counsellors.
