With a proud reputation for over 51 years of quality education, Bluebird remains at the forefront of early childhood development. Increasingly, our efforts extend beyond the immediate community as we invest in programmes and initiatives on a national level for the re-structuring of learning programmes.

Our greatest asset is our team of educators. Qualified to teach across the entire Early Childhood Development Phase, from birth to 9 years, they are intimately aware of the needs of the learners in this important phase, and are able to stimulate and encourage success.

All educators are registered with the South African Council of Educators (SACE) and the school plays an active and important role in the In-service training program for new teachers.

. . . THE MANAGEMENT

A legally incorporated non-profit organisation, Bluebird is run as a business by a team assembled from the parent body from time to time. The management team work actively in support of the principal and teaching and administrative staff. An energetic PTA drives the schools fundraising and social initiatives and the entire parent body are regularly involved in Bluebird’s life.
