I am so glad my school has a uniquely amazing family atmosphere, unlike any other school. It is not “go-to-school-go-home”, but rather the whole family gets involved. St Stithians College remains a country school with an electric atmosphere in the heart of the northern suburbs.
A co-ordinate school, it provides students with an ideal view of reality while at the same time it develops our confidence in the security of a single sex classroom. Our multi-cultural community is caring and friendly and everybody is welcome no matter who you are. St Stithians, for me, is not just a school – it is a family, the “Saints” family. It is a place where we find the strength to swim together and, eventually, the courage to swim apart.

Our School
St Stithian's statement of strategic intent, “A South African School making a World of Difference", speaks of our desire to achieve only the best education for our girls in a school that is rooted in the present South African context, that is proud of our South African Heritage and yet is always reaching forward to create a better future. Our local and international exchanges keep our girls stretching and changing themselves for the better and sharing the fruits of that in South Africa.
