The education offered at Our Lady of Lebanon Maronite Catholic School aims to develop knowledge, beliefs and practices of the Catholic Faith while acknowledging and respecting members of other Christian denominations and religions.

Our aim is to nurture the development of students by fostering an ethos based on the Gospel values of love and faith, striving to create a pleasant learning environment. This aim is presented in detail in our Vision and Mission statement, available on our website.

Established in 2011 and situated next to the Church of Our Lady of Lebanon in Mulbarton, south of Johannesburg, Our Lady of Lebanon Maronite Catholic School offers Grade 00 to Grade 2. It is the intention of the school to go up a grade every year.

We further offer learners a private school education of a high standard, whilst allowing them to participate in numerous extra-mural activates including Athletics, Soccer, Cricket, Netball, Basketball, Tennis, Speech & Drama, Choir, Dancing and Chess as well as the opportunity to learn additional languages such as Lebanese and Portuguese.

A fully equipped Computer Laboratory and Media Centre have been provided to further enhance the scope of learning. Regular Mass, religious education and prayer is also held. As the school develops so will the variety of extra-mural activities offered.

Our Aim is to grow the school and it’s learners to its full potential and also further endeavour to enhance our School to a High School.

Further plans will be to provide facilities to create further activities such as a swimming pool, a science laboratory and a school hall. This will allow the school to assist the community with the provision of language and cultural courses.
