Blue Hills College
Blue Hills College

School Type: Co-Educational

Our college is co-educational and caters for grades 8 to 12.  The school has both day scholars and residential scholars. The college is registered with the Gauteng department of education and has been in operation since 1996. It is located IN Midrand on 16 hectares of land.

Blue Hills College is a Christian College of the Seventh Day Adventist Faith. At the heart of Adventist education is a belief that children achieve true growth when their mental, physical and spiritual needs are met. Blue Hills College upholds these beliefs. Blue Hills College is respected for its well balanced nurture and development of its learners in a caring and well disciplined environment. At Blue Hills College, we focus on helping learners reach full academic potential, develop Christian faith and moral character and acquire social confidence and responsibility.

Blue Hills College is a very diverse community. It is multicultural with learners from different cultural backgrounds. This adds to the good learning atmosphere and gives learners opportunities to learn about these cultures. This atmosphere also allows learners to develop tolerance and respect for the many nationalities that we have in our college. Lasting friendships across nationalities and cultures are established.

With a total enrolment of 540 learners and a teaching staff of 29 educators, we are able to treat each child as a special individual. Value for oneself, respect and acceptance of others are just a few of the skills that we build in our learners.

In our College families become part of a community that seeks positive well balanced Christian values for their children. Although the college is of the Adventist faith, we have learners from various faiths and denominations and we welcome them with open arms. We do expect learners to participate in daily morning devotions and mid week services. During these times, excellent values are taught that will help each learner in future.

It is with “Honor and Pride” that Blue Hills College is presented to you.
