Midstream College is a parallel medium school giving our learners the option of education in either English or Afrikaans.  Learners have the choice of either or both English Home Language and Afrikaans Home Language.  Learners furthermore have the advantage of choosing their language of instruction in their other subjects of choice. 

Teaching and learning takes place in small groups resulting in more  individual attention to each learner.  The school is equipped with the latest technology and aids available for teaching.  Each learner has access to a computer and his or her unique e-mail address.  The school boasts eight laboratories, an auditorium that seats 380 and a hall that seats 1400. 

Midstream College has 4 Cricket pitches, 12 Cricket nets, 5 Rugby fields, 5 Hockey fields, 8 Netball courts, 6 Tennis courts, 2 Squash courts, a Gymnasium, a six-lane Athletics track with an impressive pavilion and flood lights and two 25m Swimming pools. We have recently added a Cricket and Hockey oval to our grounds.

Midstream caters for cultural experiences of note.  The highlight of each year is the Cultural Week where every learner has to participate with his or her cultural talent. 

The management of the school is committed to make private education an affordable reality.  There are no debentures.  Bus routes are available from Zwartkop/Irene and Wierda Park/The Reeds.  Teachers are devoted and experienced leaders in their fields of study.
